(Reuters) - The Obama administration's opening bid on Thursday in negotiations to avert a year-end fiscal crunch included a demand for new stimulus spending and authority to unilaterally raise the U.S. borrowing ceiling, a Republican congressional aide said.
Yes, Obama is asking Congress to hand over their Constitutional authority, the "power of the purse." This is one of the most important checks and balances between the three branches of government and must not be handed over.

This would be a gross aggrandization of power, even if it were done by a President Romney. The Congresscritters had better stand their ground and not yield on this.
Congress does not have authentic authority to waive or ignore their constituency, the voice of the people. This is no more apparent then in the HHS Mandate where the Congress passed the ACA without informed consent. Obama has militated towards a one world government under the world bank, a godless creation to rule without endowed, unalienable human rights. A one world government under the world bank will tax us to death, after it despoils us of our sovereignty. The sovereign person constitutes ALL government without surrendering his sovereignty, virginity or innocence. Being stripped of our sovereignty by the one world government is tyranny.
